Momming Groups

Fresh perspectives.

New ideas.

a community of moms who get it.

Q: What are momming groups all about?

Our groups build community - join us to find your inner circle! Each group is open format, focused on support, sharing strategies, and offering information & frameworks to help make sense of these first years of motherhood.

Mother Tree Wellness is a coaching practice, and our groups are not therapy.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR MOMMING GROUPS:

  • We follow a 12-week term and meet virtually for 1-hr sessions each week (times and days vary each season).

  • You’ll have a closed cohort with 6 or so other moms navigating this season of life alongside you.

  • Your membership includes our weekly sessions, a weekly Momming Journal containing that week’s themes, resources, articles, thinking points, and more, and also includes a closed WhatsApp chat just for your crew to keep the conversation going 24/7 between sessions, when life happens!

  • We know how often schedules can change, so we make it super easy to cancel if your plans change and you’re no longer able to continue with the group.

  • Come find your inner circle, and friendships that carry on long after our time together - we can’t wait to meet you!

“The low-expectation, come-as-you are style is so refreshing. Have a kid climbing on you? That’s fine. Have to leave early to put a baby down to nap? No worries. It has been a wonderful group of ladies looking for support in all things motherhood and pandemic, from boundaries, how to feed our families without losing our sanity, or just sharing our joys and challenges. I always leave feeling supported and validated in a way I haven’t been able to feel in a long time.”

  • Momming for moms with toddlers

Our flagship group, formerly known as Momming in a Pandemic, is ready for a new name! For moms of toddlers (babies welcome too), we meet virtually for 12-week terms.

We have members all over the country (and even a few in other countries), so when we say our groups are open to moms everywhere, we really mean it.

Find your inner circle and talk about the stuff that matters most to you but that moms don’t often have the right space to share it with: Topics like partners, boundaries, identity in motherhood, expectations vs. real life, mom guilt, and more.

Work through obstacles together, and receive detailed notes with resources and action items each week.

We do a ton of resourcing, too - we’re with each other through potty training, feeding picky eaters, disrupted sleep, traveling with littles, and all the rest of it.

This group focuses on support, connection, and action. It’s not therapy, and some of our members have said that the group has been a great complement to the work they’re doing with their individual therapists.

Membership includes 60-minute weekly virtual sessions, detailed follow-up emails that inform the discussion through themes, resources and action items, and access to a private chat group just for your crew to keep the conversation going between sessions - when life happens!

Just for moms with babies up to 12 months (of course we welcome you if you have other children, as well), join us to find your inner circle and navigate early motherhood together. We meet virtually for 12-week terms.

Work through obstacles together, and receive detailed notes with resources and action items each week to keep the momentum going between sessions.

We do a ton of resourcing, too - we’re with each other through baby’s first cold, figuring out feeding, sleep deprivation, renegotiating roles with partners, going back to work, finding childcare, and all the rest of it.
